    As he turned, he spotted a tall figure standing in the dark near the exit. Hood drew over his head, just observing. It didn’t even take him a second to figure out who it was of course, it never did. “Erling?” he breathed out in confusion, speed walking over to him.

    Grabbing onto the taller man’s wrist, he hurriedly walked them out before any of his teammates noticed and questioned his sudden appearance. Luckily the bar was just downstairs from his room. “Let’s not talk here,” he muttered as he led the taller man to the elevator.

    Shane snorted. “Yeah. I have it in our Prenup actually that if we lose three games in a row I get to divorce Ilya and keep everything. So if we lose against Detroit, I’m filing for divorce.”

    The team surrounding Shane burst into laughter and continued on with their post game routine, removing gear and taking showers. While Ilya’s world silently fell apart.
