    Winter 2017, the cybersecurity expert Grant Best bikes to one of his montly visits at the old C&A offices he used to work at. The anomalies he finds scattered inside the computers that house the advanced generative AI, Abel, force him to dig around in the past. When he discovers that six names, including his own, have recently been looked up on the internet, he sets out to figure out what kind of ghost stalks the machine.
    Meanwhile, inside the circus, fresh wounds slowly and painfully begin to scab, new bonds are formed and a stifled flower finally blooms. Deep in the void between instances, however, wounds that have been bleeding for two decades violently harden into spite.
