So now that in Limited Life, he's run off with Joel and Grian, he's quite okay with the looks of pity people send him. Surrounding himself with big personalities has always had the effect of getting overshadowed a little, and he's genuinely fine with getting underestimated a little bit. He doesn't help his own image by childishly trampling BDubs' crops, or whining when fish only bite for Joel. He has a more subdued personality, easily overpowered by firecrackers like Grian and Joel, right?
