Since then, Purple dragons born after were killed. Their lives a threat to the very existence of the realms.

But what if a Purple dragon escaped death?
One, who very well may heal these scarred realms.
One, who would fulfill their prophecy, and bring down healing rays.
One, who would pursue the truth, of the world as we know it.

Somtimes they're not green nor dark at all. There are things in simple suits with gregarious affect, slick words and a glint of mischief in their eyes. There are things sheathed in shades of charcoal and dazzling smiles in business chic with a blood stain the length of the hills in their wake. Then, there are other things... Things that are molten gold, wild honey, sweet sounding seduction decked in carmine. They are agents as free as the wind and just as mercurial. They are sharp toothed, bloody mawed, knife nailed creatures of varying old that have carved out their territories and laid their lines and established their list of markers. While that may be true, what is known often changes with time. This is a look at what a modern-day book of dragons may look like, with updated and detailed information about the dragons including diet, behavior, and evolutionary history.
The events of the books and movies are considered irrelevant, aside from use as historical details and documentation (basically unless it's an important detail, the movie plots are ignored here). Pretends the ending of Hidden World didn't happen and dragons stayed in the archipelago.
