Summary
“I am Optimus Prime,” he said, bringing a servo to his chassis, “and this–” Before he could get any further through his introduction, the sparkling's optics shot wide open. His intake hung low in awe, his servos curling into his chassis in excitement.
“No way!” The tiny yellow bot gasped, all traces of fear completely erased from his field and faceplate. “You’re Optimus Prime? Like the leader of the Autobots?”
Optimus could not help the tiny laugh he let free. “Indeed, young one, the very same. In fact, this happens to be the second floor of my biggest ship.”
The yellow bot practically vibrated with excitement. “That's so cool!”
Something bitter twisted through Ratchet’s plating, watching the sparkling interact with his mate, seeing his tiny optics light up and his field glow with awe. Oh, how desperately he wished he'd stepped forward, spoken first, been faster, known better. Ratchet's systems boiled with misplaced irritation at the thought. Hadn't it always been him?

A long time ago Bumblebee got kidnapped by Shockwave and was forced to play at a sickening father-son dynamic he never bought into. But, hey! That was a long time ago! The war is basically over now, and Bumblebee is a respected hero who leads his own team of Polity Advocates. Things are going fine for him, perfect, even!
Until a new Decepticon defects to the Autobots. A Decepticon that no one’s ever seen before, who bears an eerie resemblance to Bumblebee himself.
Evil shockdad inspired fic where Shockwave decides to make a sparkling to replace Bumblebee and the results are uhhhh mixed. Basically: evil shockdad with a focus on sibling/pseudo-siblings dynamics and the weird kind of bonding that can result from being abused by the same person.

Summary
Starscream had lost a lot before the war. Sunbeam. His sparkling. Starscream had long since lost hope that his sparkling was alive. Sunbeam had died in the ruins of Vos, and Starscream would never see him.
B-127 had been born before the war. He did not have anything left to lose by the time war broke out. Raised underground in energon mines, B-127 had not even gotten to grow into his true colors. Optimus Prime has saved him from the mines; there was never a need to look back.
