Summary
Ever since the resounding defeat of humankind at the hand of the Raptures, the former have been forced to seek refuge within the Ark, a vast underground city. Now, the last survivors of the human race hold out in quiet hope that, one day, they walk on the surface once more. Bearer of that hope are Nikke, regarded and praised as Goddesses of Victory.
...Only that there isn't much victory to go around, as one young man notices, no matter what the Central Government says. Feeling that Nikkes have overstepped their purposes, and becoming tired of the almost mindless fixation on Victory, he struggles through everyday life until he is thrown into the midst of it all.
It is then that he realises that neither his or the Central Government's take on the whole situation are absolute, and that the Nikke themselves have their perspective to share, too. Once put off by their mannerisms, he eventually comes to appreciate them for what they are, sharing an increasingly close bond with them.

There are alot words that could be used to describe Fiammetta by those around her. While some of those... all of those- do apply, for those that don't try to get to know her, who barely get past her thorny exterior, they don't get to see the other side.
