“And the winner is… Jung Hoseok!”
The cup fell from Yoongi’s hands, hitting the bottom of the sink with a loud clunk. He was lucky that it didn’t shatter, since it was one of Namjoon’s precious teacups and he would’ve killed him had it broke. Yoongi didn’t really care at that moment, though, given that the Hoseok he had seen last night was on his TV screen, accepting an award for best choreographer.
“What the hell?” Namjoon asked, turning back to Yoongi in shock.
“That’s him.” Yoongi pointed at the screen.
“Who?” Namjoon asked, looking between the TV and Yoongi.
“The guy.”
“What guy?”
“The one that was staring at me.”
Min Yoongi is a struggling producer in Seoul and, most notably, a pessimist at heart. Finding love is completely beyond his desires, his only focus trying to further his career in music. Cue Jung Hoseok, a dancer who keeps his heart on his sleeve and has everything Yoongi could ask for.

Summary

In the far Western continent he encounters Kim Taehyung who is isolated within a small villa surrounded by dark, desolate lands and unwelcoming people. The young Count is eclectic and beautiful but is also terribly secretive, is shadowed by hooded servants, and is reluctant to leave the villa at daytime. He warns Hoseok to lock his bedroom door at night.
Worse, something darker lies beneath the surface of the house.

Oh, god. It struck him only then that he was in a hostage situation. Life or death.
With shaking fingers, he pulled up the message app and hurled a text off, panicked and abrupt. He only hoped that Yoongi was still awake. But all hopes were quick to dissipate when he heard the tread of shoes near his head and something cool press against his temple.
“Hey,” a voice said, muffled and distorted. Despite himself, Hoseok shivered. Fear was pressing on every nerve. He was done for; his phone was still on and he had no hope to turn it off now. “What you got there?”

Jung Hoseok may not be as successful as he wished to be when he was younger. Instead of being a dance instructor in his own dance studio, he worked full-time at a local supermarket – but at least he is happy, living with his boyfriend of two years, Min Yoongi, in a not-so-crappy apartment in the city. However, when he gets caught up in a robbery at his bank and his boyfriend disappears, his happiness is challenged, along with everything he thought he knew about the people he holds dear.

One pureblood and one turned human. These two were, in theory, the origin of the species. Well, actually, there were three, there was another pureblood, but, again, Yoongi didn’t like to talk about that. Yoongi didn’t like a lot of things. Most things actually. Too many years on this planet, in this country, had dulled his sense of enjoyment for pretty much everything. If you had all the time in the world, what would you do?
Yoongi, well, Yoongi did nothing. Had for centuries. There were only two things on this planet, in this world, that Yoongi cared about. His family. The part he acknowledged. The part he was responsible for: his kin. He had complete control over their lives, but he didn't like to use it. If they wanted to keep in contact, they would. Most didn’t. Only two bothered and even if they were the only things that made Yoongi care, he often wished they didn’t. They were… lively for the undead.
But again, all of that wasn’t the point. The point was that there was one original pureblood vampire and he was a dick.

Jung Hoseok is a Child Life Specialist at Severance Hospital in Seoul. His job is to bring peace and healing to families during their stay at the hospital; to distract them from the frightening aspects of surgeries, injections and uncomfortable procedures. He's relatively new at the job when he is assigned to a young cardiology patient named Nari. At just 4 years old, the girl has been through six surgeries and is scheduled to undergo her seventh, which is potentially the most life threatening so far. Alongside Nari is her distraught, often grumpy, father, Min Yoongi. Yoongi has been a single parent all of Nari's life and he just wants her to get better. He really can't understand why Jung Hoseok, the silliest person he's ever met, is involved in Nari's care. He is often annoyed by Hoseok's presence and isn't afraid to let him know. But, upon seeing how happy he makes Nari, Yoongi has a change of heart that takes him places he never thought possible...namely, Jung Hoseok's bedroom.
