Elphaba's eyes narrow. That feeling's back again, too, thrumming in the palms of her hands. There's a biting retort on her lips. But then she spots something else on Galinda's arm, just below her jewelry: pink rose petals and delicate leaves shaded faintly in green.
"You—what is that?"
"What's what?" Galinda looks down, then tilts her head up as she looks at Elphaba through long eyelashes. Slowly, like she's talking to a child, she says, "It's a tattoo."

Summary
Galinda Upland loathes Elphaba Thropp. She’s certain that’s what this pulse-rushing, head-reeling, face-flushing feeling is that she gets every time she looks at her. But sometimes, a girl has a point to prove, and sometimes the way to prove that point is to go down on one’s roommate in the shower.
Thus begins a game that leads them into very dangerous territory.

Elphaba.
Galinda felt shame flush her cheeks when she tilted her head to Elphaba’s side of the room. Blessedly, still empty. Dotted with black clothing, dark colors that clashed against Galinda’s aesthetic to the nth degree.
Yet it was beautiful. Black goes good with pink.
Green, even more so.
