Summary
After a few months of staying with Dabi, Izuku is slowly adjusting to his new life. He runs errands and keeps watch over their rundown apartment, and in exchange, Dabi helps Izuku with his burns. It’s an almost peaceful existence, but Izuku knows how unlikely it is to last. Dabi isn’t a good man and trouble follows him like the lingering stench of smoke on his clothes.
This is the second part of the Fire and Destiny series. Please read the first fic before this one, or you will likely be very confused.

Summary

His entrance into the foster system appears inevitable, but unbeknownst to Izuku, he still has one remaining relative in Japan: his paternal uncle, Midoriya Haruto, right-hand to the leader of the Shie Hassaikai.
Six years later, Izuku returns to Musutafu, a different person with the same dream. He's going to be a hero. Damn anyone who says he can't.

Bruno needed to leave, for his sobrina. But Mirabel needed him, now more than ever. His hermana and cuñado would do their best, but they were only two people out of the whole family. Julieta would try to understand, to comfort her daughter, but she wouldn't ever understand what Mirabel was going through.
He needed to leave, but he couldn't leave Mirabel behind.
But that was insane. He was insane for even thinking that leaving with Mirabel was a possibility, never mind a good idea.
Mirabel needed her familia, she needed her mama. And beyond occasionally minding his other sobrinos and sobrinas, Bruno had no experience in taking care of a child. It would be a disaster.
But the alternative — leaving Mirabel behind — wouldn't be much better.

Very loosely inspired by... TunaFishPrincess’s Checkmate, SilveRanger’s A Web of Love and Lies Series, and a book I read in maybe (?) sixth grade, from which I borrowed some (?) plot elements. (Kinda?)

Summary
Adrien would never get used to the cold, empty vastness that was his room. Years of living in it never made it any more comfortable, any more like a home. It was just a shiny cage to complement the pretty songbird trapped inside, devoid of warmth or genuine personality. He’d always wanted something smaller and more lived in, but his father never cared for what Adrien actually wanted or liked, not beyond what looked good for his company.
But at least before, that cage’s door was unlocked. Now that cage was locked, plated with metal, sealed away from the world, and Adrien’s wings were clipped. Adrien had been trapped for weeks, maybe months, mindlessly playing the same games over and over, practicing piano despite no longer needing to, and mourning the loss of Plagg, his friends, his Lady, and the freedom of being Chat Noir.
