Summary
After a few months of staying with Dabi, Izuku is slowly adjusting to his new life. He runs errands and keeps watch over their rundown apartment, and in exchange, Dabi helps Izuku with his burns. It’s an almost peaceful existence, but Izuku knows how unlikely it is to last. Dabi isn’t a good man and trouble follows him like the lingering stench of smoke on his clothes.
This is the second part of the Fire and Destiny series. Please read the first fic before this one, or you will likely be very confused.

Summary

Bruno needed to leave, for his sobrina. But Mirabel needed him, now more than ever. His hermana and cuñado would do their best, but they were only two people out of the whole family. Julieta would try to understand, to comfort her daughter, but she wouldn't ever understand what Mirabel was going through.
He needed to leave, but he couldn't leave Mirabel behind.
But that was insane. He was insane for even thinking that leaving with Mirabel was a possibility, never mind a good idea.
Mirabel needed her familia, she needed her mama. And beyond occasionally minding his other sobrinos and sobrinas, Bruno had no experience in taking care of a child. It would be a disaster.
But the alternative — leaving Mirabel behind — wouldn't be much better.

“Just an interview would be good,” Peter said, clearing his throat. “I’m mostly a photographer, not sure I’ve got the interrogator qualifications.”
“Photographer, hmmm. . .well, I can definitely think of a few things you could take a picture of -” Deadpool started, then stopped, lenses narrowing. “Wait a flaming hot second. Peter Parker? Why does that name sound familiar?”
Peter tensed. Had someone figured out Spiderman’s secret identity and sicced a mercenary on him to try and catch him when he wasn’t in costume?
As Peter began to spiral, Deadpool glanced down at the newspaper in his lap, looking at the front page cover. He squinted, pulled the paper closer to his face, and then let out an auditory gasp.
“Holy shit balls, you’re the guy who takes all those hot pictures of Spiderman!”
“Excuse me?” Peter said, torn between relief and confusion.

or, Peter has to interview Deadpool, which quickly spirals into him being offered an obscene amount of money to sell Deadpool pictures of Spiderman. Between keeping up his secret identity, Deadpool’s flirting, and a growing mob threat, Peter quickly gets in over his head.

Summary
Ryland Grace gets called in to look at Astrophage and make first contact with an alien species. To bad he made first contact a while ago, it's just that nobody knew. Getting to work on Project Hail Mary might just be the second best thing to ever happen to him as it means Grace reunites with someone he thought lost. Maybe. There still a sun to save.
But at least now he has Rocky back.

Peter's voice whittles down to a high pitched whistle, forgetting that he needs to breathe to continue creating more sound.
After a few more agonizing seconds during which Peter weighs the possibilities that he just gave his mentor and the savior of the world a heart attack, Mr. Stark looks up at him, eyes suddenly wide.
A beat passes.
"What's your teacher's name again?"
AKA, Ryland Grace and Tony Stark hooked up in college. This is fine, until 20 years later, Peter Parker gets involved. It's all downhill from there.

Summary
I lived with this hunger long before the Hail Mary. This is nothing new. I’m fine.
Right up until Rocky asks another question.
“When last time you touch other human person skin, question?”
Oh. Oh no. “When I… a few days after I first woke up here.”
Rocky starts to relax for a split second, but then tightens when something occurs to him.
“Grace crewmates dead when you wake up. You said this, statement. You not even know your own name, remember nothing, see dead bodies, confirm?”
I nod, because if I open my mouth I will gag.
“When last time Grace touch ALIVE human person, question.”
I swallow thickly. I don’t answer aloud because I know Rocky can hear the hitch in my breath. My stomach churns with fresh bile. He senses my vital signs tick over into stress patterns and goes very, very still again.
“Grace. When last time, question.”
I clench my jaw so hard my temples ache, and beg him with my eyes to just stop.
“Grace. Please say not when… when Evil Stratt humans put you to sleep.”
I can taste grass.
