An AU retelling of HP OOTP, where Harry Potter is born a girl, Hattie, and how this changes Harry/Hattie's life at Hogwarts, and friendships with Ron, Hermione, Draco and other students.
This is not a word-for-word retelling of Book 5. Events that occur the same in this retelling as they did in the originals are sometimes summarized. It's about 1/3rd the length of the original story. Entire story is already written, just working on editing and posting it!
NOTE: I'll complete this, but then will be removing by end of summer to combine all years into one single work and to continue with years 6 and 7!

The image of the Lord of the Fire Territory was shrouded in many mysteries. First, no one could say for sure what he looked like. Some said he was a disfigured man, whose face was nothing but a hideous scar. The particularly impressionable claimed he had no eyelids, making his eyes appear particularly eerie and otherworldly. Others – far fewer – disputed this description, claiming the demon with cold gray-green eyes was incredibly handsome, stately, and youthful. Legends of his power were eloquent, but hardly seemed true. People believed he could reverse time, cure illness, and grant immortality.

More than half the intel the Order received on Death Eater movements had Malfoy leading the pack.

Out of instinct, Hermione reached for the wand holster on her thigh, only to find it not only empty but gone. Malfoy offered her a smirk and a slight uptick of his brow. Closing the door from which he’d emerged behind him, he strode toward her and sat in the armchair nearest her head.
“Wh-what—” Hermione rasped, the words sticking to her throat like flypaper. “What do you want with me?”
