Summary
There’s no time. His chest burned with every step, a hot striking pain shooting up his legs. He sprinted, fumbling for a potion of swiftness in his emergency bundle. Nom slammed it onto the ground, ignoring the glass of shards scattering around him. A rush of adrenaline coursed through his decaying lungs, running past the circus and closer to the kingdoms.
“Gotta go- gotta warn them.”
It’s still too slow. Why did it feel like nothing happened? Of course, he couldn’t have missed the splash effect, but he swore it hit him.
There! The Rue-bars in sight. He could see the bridge, the arena, but no people at all.
“Anyone?!” He reached the bridge, frantically searching. There were signs of a battle, grass trampled, blood in the air and the smell of gunpowder. “Where-where is everybody?!” The crows squawked uselessly above him. Why was no one here? Nom started heading towards Red, avoiding a large crater when he heard the same gravelly voice.

Strength.
That’s what he is. That’s what he introduces himself as. Nom thinks it fits nicely.
He got the invitation like everyone else, a letter inviting him to a masquerade party, hosted by none other than Graecie herself.
When was the last time he went to a party? He doesn’t know. All he could remember were faint memories, how he and Katie were dressed up in fancy clothes and ran through the castle halls playing tag, their laughter bouncing off the stone walls.
Now he’s going alone. Well, sure Katie’s going, everyone is. But it's a masquerade ball, a place where everyone’s identity is meant to be hidden. It confuses him. When he asked Graecie about how the masks would work, she simply smiled and told him, “You’ll see.”

Nom goes to the masquerade ball and meets his partner, The Devil. Unaware of who The Devil is, and being drunk, Nom lets loose. They dance, kiss and share a bed together.

On that fateful night, Lou Jitsu escaped with four turtles. But he had hoped to escape with five. A fifth turtle that had bit through its cage and fell into unrefined ooze, accidentally mutating early. During the lab explosion, both Draxum and Lou Jitsu believed the fifth turtle to be dead. But unknown to them, it was saved by a human war veteran, one of the few humans to ever walk in the hidden city. He found the little turtle and took it home, and named them Cellini.
But he left them. Somewhere even the living can't reach.
The Hamato brothers never expected to take in someone.
Cellini never expected to stay. Learning what family feels like.
Too bad family doesn’t stop the nightmares.Or the hunter who lost an eye.
After all, the past has a way of following.
