Hair a shock of gossamer pearlescence, cloudy pastel shadow around blue, blue, eyes. The bluest eyes they’ve ever seen. Somewhere between celestial paradise and Neptune, interstellar dust.
A deity indeed.
Every patron in the room hoots and screams. Her lips curl, her smile a unique sort of enlightenment. “Such a warm welcome,” she purrs.
Shoko thinks perhaps a creature like this is beyond comprehension. She turns to Suguru. Stretches up to speak directly into his ear. “I’d kill for her,” she says.
“I’d let her kill me,” he replies.
(One gloomy night in January, Shoko and Suguru encounter a divine being. They buy him peach juice.)

Sukuna scoffed, “No. You’re just stupid.”
It took Yuji a while. Mostly because he’d never known anyone like Sukuna, but eventually he understood. Whenever Sukuna called him stupid, he really meant ‘I love you.’

“Oh my God,” the child repeats breathlessly, sounding far older than any child his age should sound, unable to tear his eyes away from Satoru. The boy shakes faintly, shock maybe, words a shaky exhale, “it’s really- you’re- you look- this is— oh my God!”
Annnnd there’s really no doubting it now.
Clearly those vivid dreams of war, imprisonment and eleven years of growing up is not the dream Satoru had thought it to be since waking up in the infirmary as a seventeen-year-old student, way back before the source of all his problems defected from Jujutsu society.
