He didn’t bother texting, knowing that Changbin was either locked into his game or refueling his energy with a large bowl of instant ramyeon. That was his first mistake.
The second? Walking in like he owned the place.
Chan had a key to every dorm, just in case of emergency. So naturally, he unlocked the door and let himself in. Changbin wouldn’t mind, they all did this– inviting themselves into each other's homes like they had no care for any sense of privacy. And usually, they didn’t, Chan walking in confidently and locking the door behind him.
His final mistake?
Not knowing the pair of shoes that didn’t belong to either of the pair living there, paying no mind to them as he kicked off his own, humming that same melody to himself as he looked around the vacant kitchen and living room.or
Chan walks in on Jisung and Changbin, and finds himself being pulled into a night to be remembered.

“Please. Can we… can we just have sex?”
The question hung in the air; insane and just absolutely incredulous. Minho, the demon feared by even his own kind, could do nothing but just stare. His bloodshot eyes wide with what looked like a mixture of disbelief, incredulity and rage. He didn't answer, couldn't answer. Hell he had no answer. He had nothing to pull out, had no frame of reference for any of this.
Chan didn’t wait for one. He couldn't. The last thread of his sanity had snapped, officially. He needed to feel something other than this soul-crushing emptiness. He needed a distraction, a violent, consuming act to blot out the memory of his girlfriend’s betrayal. He stepped back, his hands fumbling with the hem of his shirt, and in one fluid motion, stripped it off.
(Or; It's Christmas eve and Chan had caught his girlfriend cheating on him. Pushed past his breaking point, he does the unthinkable and pulls the terrifying ghost/demon that has long tormented him for a kiss. He somehow doesn't get torn apart, and istead, he gets a reaction. Chan, miserable, desperate to forget and just longing for any kind of connection, decides to take things a step further.)

“What?” Jisung practically squeals. Adrenaline pumping through him, his eyes dart around, noticing people staring at them as Minho tugs him back toward the main entrance. He lowers his voice into an aggressive whisper. “Minho, you know I wouldn’t steal any—”
“Sir,” Minho says sharply, “please.”
Jisung squeaks. “Don’t call me ‘sir!’ Minho, you know me, you know I’m not a— It was that guy!” He tries to pull his arm away to point in the direction the person ran away in, but Minho’s grip is too fierce and unyielding. “The one that bumped into me, you saw—”
“That’s the main culprit,” Minho agrees, walking Jisung through the mall, “but you’re the accessory. My partner’s grabbing him now.”
Jisung gapes at him. His eyes go down to Minho’s clothes again—normal clothes, civilian clothes, clothing Jisung rarely sees him in. “But— Aren’t you off-duty?”“Crime doesn’t stop for me,” Minho answers, voice infuriatingly smooth.
Jisung is Christmas shopping, and Minho can’t resist messing with him. They end up getting a little sentimental, and Minho decides to fuck about it.

Jisung sees red, angry red. It's so sudden and violent that it takes them both aback; it’s almost debilitating, the way his body locks up, ready to fight or cry. “And what? Is that a fucking crime?! To be wanted and needed by someone?"
The older man looks hurt for a brief second, before he yells back, with half as much power as Jisung used. "Yes, if it means she uses you and emotionally abuses you!"
Changbin hasn't raised his voice like this in years, and Jisung feels betrayed, hurt. His mood swings in the completely opposite direction, irrationally, and he tears up. "What choice do I have? No one else wants me!!"
Changbin smacks the tops of his thighs, and Jisung flinches from the noise. "I do!"
Heat rushes from the center of his chest to the tips of his fingers. He thinks he stops breathing for a few, holding one single breath for so long it starts hurting his chest. "What?"
