But Apollo doesn't like Daryan, or the Gavinners' music, or even Klavier, it seems.
Which begs the question of why he even came to the audition in the first place.

Something about the way Klavier looked at him, and positioned himself in front of Apollo, offering a dance, he felt mesmerized. He didn't even realize that his hand ended up in Klavier's.

Summary
Apollo thinks of the Phantom, the nameless ghost who took his best friend, and hesitates for only a moment before he chucks his bottle as hard as he can, channeling his anger, his pain, and his sorrow into the throw. It doesn’t quite hit the center, but he doesn’t think it’s too bad of a shot, considering he already feels a bit buzzed. He feels himself laugh and it feels good, but he isn’t sure whether it’s because he’s let out the pent up angst or because of the man next to him who’s smiling oh-so-softly as he takes Apollo by the hand again back to the bar.

Klavier has encountered many people whose souls sounded like his, to some degree. As he moves casually forward, though, trying to mask his burning curiosity, he becomes aware of the distinct tone of Herr Forehead’s soul, how the thrum of its strings sounds a few octaves higher than Klavier’s own.
But … wait. There’s something else about it, too—something that stops Klavier dead in his tracks, feeling like the ground has fallen out from underneath him.
Because the music is ... syncing with Klavier’s.

Given how vehemently Apollo Justice denies things like crushes or caring about Klavier in the slightest, he really does keep doing things purely because he cares about him. Things done out of love in a relationship formed in all the wrong steps as the two ultimately come together as a couple.

But, after Apollo returns from Khura'in to see that his own notoriety has prompted the lalegal.fandom.com website to create an article about him, he shouldn't be surprised to see that the Wikipedia-editing drama continues in full force.

All in all, being able to understand the unsaid meaning of things was an overly poetic way to say; Klavier was an over-thinker.
He was only a few steps behind when he saw a few petals peek through the defense attorney button up collar. It took him approximately seven seconds to recognize them as traces of ink. Apollo had… a tattoo?
