Also this marks the start of the series being a live action Marvel vs. Capcom story, hahaha. It was originally a big surprise reveal, but I eventually decided to add appropriate tags so I may as well spell it out here.

When you start the movie over again, Rain remembers everything that happened the first time around! (This is a metaphor, the story does not take place in a cursed VHS tape). Rain must now figure out how to escape the time loop she finds herself in and -- more importantly -- not die. She's having a hard time with that last one, though.
