“Wh-What about him?” The cashier asked, glancing at Tommy. “Did you- did you kidnap him?”
“I mean… yeah, let’s go with that in case this ends up on the news,” Siren shrugged, looking back at Tommy. “I kidnapped you, right?”
“Yeah, sure,” Tommy agreed, knowing that if they said he was kidnapped, it would keep people from getting suspicious of why he was seen in public with Siren. “Anyway, can I get the chicken nuggets happy meal, with a coke?”
or, how Tommy—who is not a hero, or a villain, or even a vigilante—saves the life of one of L'Manberg's most feared supervillains, and accidentally ends up becoming the resident doctor for every supervillain in town (and maybe gets a family along the way too).

Skeptical grins, then leans over to rest his head on Bad’s shoulder, promptly causing him to short circuit. “You’re cute when you’re talking all confident like that, you know?”
“I’m-” Bad’s voice cracks and he promptly covers it up with a cough. “I’m not cute. I’m one of the most wanted Villains, you know!”
“And I’m the most wanted Vigilante. Am I not cute?” Bad sputters at that. Skeptical continues before he can think of a half decent answer. “Besides, who said those things were ever mutually exclusive?”
Skeptical reaches up and traces a finger along Bad’s jaw. It’s soft, tickles almost, and Bad promptly forgets how to speak until Skeptical flicks his chin with a laugh.
“Yeah,” he says, eyes catching in the moonlight and making them gleam, “Still cute.”
“I am not.” Bad says, swallowing thickly.
(Or Bad is an experienced Villain who isn’t supposed to be distracted by cute Vigilantes, but Skeptical is one hell of a distraction.)

Sharpness bristled, his feathers fluffing in irritation despite the fresh wave of pain it caused. “Fix me?” he squawked back in offense.
“Ugh- not like that-” Jude began, his face flushing even deeper as he tripped over his words. Anxiously, he pulled on one of his long rabbit ears. “It’s just… I talked to Falconu and, um, I noticed your wings were bothering you and… and I-thought-I-could-help-you-groom-them.”
Sharpness's brain buffered as he struggled to keep up with Jude's words. When he finally did, his cheeks exploded with heat, coloring pink to match Jude's.
“What?”

In Unstable City, there's a lot of things that exist. Hybrids of all kinds, from dogs, to demons, to blazes. It's not unique, that's for sure, as the cities surrounding it, like Lifesteal City or Strength City, have their own quirks, and their own different hybrids of creatures and humans.
One thing Unstable City has that other cities do not, however, is an angel. Angels were hunted and killed down until near extinction for their abilities, which were said that one could receive if they ate an angel's heart.
It had been centuries since anyone's seen an angel, so that myth was yet to be proven.
Eggchan is an angel.
He works at a coffee shop. He does all the shifts, every last one, since the other employees all either ran off to be heroes, or died in the crossfire of the battles. Doesn't matter to Egg though. As long as he gets paid.
Staying safe isn't too hard.
Until heroes, vigilantes and villains alike decide that the coffee shop Egg works at is a great place to get coffee.
