Prince received that invitation and immediately laughed at the phone. Michael Jackson was his rival in the music industry and the last thing he expected from that well known competitive man was a request for a collaboration.
“So… Can we meet someday to discuss?” Prince heard Michael’s sweet calm voice over the line, certain that he was smiling on the other side.
“Sure. Let’s try to make it work.” The guitarist said, a little suspicious about that. But he decided to wait and see what Jackson was planning.
Then, at the reunion room, Prince saw the line ‘your butt is mine’ and immediately asked back:
“Who is gonna say that to who? Because you’re not going to say this to me.”

Edit: Just realised calling this a prompt made it sound a bit misleading. It's a dialogue fic between a priest with a bellybutton fetish taking confession and a penitent confessing his own bellybutton fetish to said priest. DoctorHall wrote it to see what it would inspire in my own writing as we explore his hierophilia kink together. It's set the same day of Confession: The Night of the Storm, basically the conversation that led to those events later that night.

Lo tildaron de suicidio y nadie reclamó su cuerpo, por lo que lo incineraron y llevaron sus cenizas a un depósito municipal. Eso era lo que le esperaba a él, ¿no? Coger polvo en una urna abandonada. Debería haberse suicidado tras matar a Murray. Así al menos su muerte habría tenido algún sentido.
¿Pero y si, a pesar de todo, sobrevivía una vez más? La intervención inesperada de un joven guardia obliga a Arthur a seguir enfrentándose a una realidad de la que desearía poder escapar. El caos de su mente lo atrapa y amenaza con devorarlo, mientras un nuevo juicio lo espera, prometiendo revivir todos los horrores del pasado una vez más.
Aunque tal vez, en medio de la tragedia, todavía exista un poso de esperanza. ¿Podrá la humanidad que siempre se le ha negado florecer en el más inesperado de los lugares?

Su cabeza da vueltas, torturado por la declaración de Gary, el vértigo dominándolo mientras se cuestiona quién es realmente y hasta dónde está dispuesto a llegar. Lo único que desea es sumirse a sí mismo en la inconsciencia y que todo termine de una vez, pero los actos tienen consecuencias y sus palabras improvisadas frente a las cámaras están a punto de recibir una respuesta que Arthur ni siquiera podía imaginar.

Warnings: same very harsh themes as in the film itself (child abuse, violence, suicidal tendancies…). Is Joe really "damaged beyond repair", as Jonathan Ames says ? (Jonathan Ames created Joe, then Lynne Ramsay used his book "You were never really here" to make the movie). As I often say, two wrong don’t make a right. They are maybe not « damaged beyond repair », but they are seriously fucked up. Both.
