“Shh,” says a familiar voice. “Stop moving. I’ve got you.”
Such strange words spoken by a voice that has only ever directed anger and profanity at him. He should respond with a jeering remark and maybe a punch, like he’s been doing for centuries. That’s how the world works. The sky is blue. The stars rotate. Feng Xin and Mu Qing yell at each other.
In the aftermath of the battle at Tonglu, Mu Qing is carried to safety by Feng Xin, and perhaps it's about time they figured out how to stop arguing all the time.

Summary
While fighting a ghost, Feng Xin gets cursed without his knowledge. What follows is a series of strange and vivid dreams where the only constant seems to be Mu Qing, or at least, some version of him. Each version of the god appeared more fanciful than the last, evoking bizarre thoughts and leaving inexplicable feelings when the dreams ended.
Feng Xin has to learn to navigate those feelings his dreams leave him with, as well as his feelings from the constantly improving relationship he has with Mu Qing in the real world.
Oh, and also, hopefully break the curse soon.
