Summary
It turns out that being wired into giant war machines doesn’t play nice with human brains. The Earth Mechanical Defense Force, or EMDF, learned that the hard way when their pilots started going… neurotic, let’s say, after a few missions.
The obvious solution to that problem was to simply wire the pilot into their mecha permanently, that way their mind wasn’t being strained by the constant in and out. Unfortunately that strategy backfired and the pilots started going neurotic much, much faster, and this time they were giant and made of metal and much harder to put down.
So, the obvious next step would be to pull the plug on that idea and go back to the drawing board, right? No, that’s ridiculous, the next step was obviously to simply…
Make the mecha forget they’d ever been human in the first place.
Somewhere along the line someone should have pulled the plug, but they’d already invested so much into the project, and you know what they say about sunk cost fallacy.

Summary
Cybertron is a world at war in more ways than one. Locked in a massive confrontation between multiple factions, in spite of official war status, there looks to be no end in sight. As dozens of city states struggle for victory over each other, the peace-loving Autobots struggle to make sure there will be bots around when the conflicts eventually end, but it seems a hopeless endeavor.
Then, an unexpected connection established millions of years over opens a new facet to everything no one had ever dreamed of.
Even with the chaotic events that have recently unfolded, no one has time for a rest. After all, there are plans to be made, stories to be told, and destinies to be met!
Current Arc -With Friends Like These: Multiple factions of Cybertronians are now left stranded on Earth with a potential known way back to Cybertron. It’ll be a piece of cake to get back, right?

He didn't stay with them for very long and has been hopping between 'captors' ever since.Madara, an alien species known as the uchiha, feels chakra where he shouldn't, and assumes it to be another one of his kidnapped brethren.
Absolutely no one is ready for what ensues.
