"Mr. Wilson." Paradox folds his hands and looks square in Wade's eyes. "Everything I have learned about your love life today has been strictly against my will. Even if I could help you locate your hapless paramour, I would rather have my balls ardently fondled by a lobster than be involved in this for one second longer than I have to be."

There is no mistaking him. A man’s torso, broad shoulders and a surprisingly furry chest and abs, hips that break out in dazzling golden scales and give way to an impossibly long, thick tail. No horns, though. The Serpent’s hair is long, brown with a bronze luster to it, with charming cowlicks on either side. He can see how the silhouette of such a creature could seem like a horned monster. In the firelight, though, he’s glorious. It dances gleefully across his golden jewelry which somehow seems dull in comparison to his scales.
“Holy fucking shit,” Wade breathes.
The Serpent approaches.
“Are you gonna eat me?”

“Ack!” Kurt blinked at the harsh change in atmosphere. “Who is—” he laughed. “Logan, what are you doing in my room? Did I forget something in the jet?” The short man let out a chuckle in return and strode into the suite as he tossed his duffel bag into one of the chairs.
“Elf, you’re in my bed.” The words hit Kurt like a bucket of cold water. His midnight blue skin tinted purple as a flush rose to his cheeks and chest. To Logan it was charming, especially with how the blue mutant clutched at the bedsheets like a shocked maiden about to be whisked away by the villain.

The more Kurt observes of Logan, the more complicated his feelings become. It doesn't help that other members of the team seem to have a fondness for the old, gruff mutant as well.

Stop pushing your shit on me!”
The entrance gate was older than Logan remembered. Rusted from time he hadn’t known. And the sign, familiar and welcoming, simple yet kind, stood out in chipped, gold lettering against a stone pillar crawling with ivy: Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters.
This place had been nothing but rubble the last time Logan saw it. Burnt down to living embers. And now, he laid on the edge of a reserve, just yards away, marveling at a world still standing.
Or, in an attempt to help Logan start his much needed healing journey, Wade stages an intervention to get Logan acquainted with his universe's version of the X-Men. And Logan struggles to put his own past behind him.

Logan wakes up after the full moon, as he always does, feeling groggy and hungover. He's laying on the carcass of some animal, his claws buried in it. Smells like blood and semen. Did he fuck it after he killed it? Disgusting. A new low. He stands up and stretches, very deliberately not looking at the dead animal.
As he's debating the discomfort of trekking for several miles on an empty stomach versus maybe eating some of last nights kill raw, as unpleasant as that is, he hears a sound behind him, a moan. A very human moan.
It's a man. Naked like him. Covered in scars.
"Good morning peanut." he says.
"Did I do that?" he asks brokenly.
"You sure did big boy. Several times. Wanna do it again?" the stranger smirks at him.

Vanessa peeks over her shoulder, one playful eye mocking him. “I’ll be the judge of that.”
His self control is frayed, threads popping loose one by one until it’s a single strand keeping him together. Her body is velvet soft and soaking wet and Logan can’t do it, the thread snaps, his hips snap, and Vanessa moans in earnest now, caught off guard and pleasured.
It’s been so long since Logan has had this. It was so easy to ignore the need when he’d denied it for nearly a decade, but fucking Wade had cracked open the shell he’d built around this part of him that needed physical attention. Denying himself pleasure had been his repentance, but now he considers something new: if he was the worst, then maybe he should live up to it. Surely fucking his ex-teammate’s ex-girlfriend in a fit of glorious self sabotage was not something a good person would do. But he wasn’t good, he wasn't a hero, he was the worst. He wasn’t fucking hard.
Logan shot up, pushing Wade into the crevice of the couch in his haste. Wade looked up at him, confused, a little pink in the face–
“I–fuck–I need to uh–I gotta piss," Logan forced out, stumbling to the bathroom.
He shut the door behind himself and shuffled toward the sink, trembling hands wrapping around the edges of it, hanging on for dear fucking life, knuckles turning white.
Fuck.
That wasn’t supposed to happen.
Not being able to come was one thing, an almost tolerable failure, but not even getting a perfunctory stiffy when his boyfriend was working him over in the comfort of their own damn apartment?
Logan was fucking broken, he was sure of that.
(After months together, Wade says he loves Logan. Naturally, things go to shit. Logan can't say it back, and suddenly he can't get hard, and it feels a little like the world is caving in all around him. Eventually they're going to need to talk about it, right?)
