His LED is a hesitant gold, and you're trying, through the fog, to keep an eye out for any red.
His eyes flick down to yours, cold concentration melting into fondness, like he's aware that you're trying to check in. One hand comes up to cup your cheek, thumb catching your lower lip just long enough for his gaze to darken. He's nervous, but far from unwilling.
