While Damian and Dick can’t figure out why this group's actions, tools, and abilities feel so familiar. That is until Damian gets saved by a teen with snow-white hair and glowing green eyes.Damian just got saved by a cartoon character Dick and he watches regularly.
Meanwhile, Danny and the gang got dumped into the DC Universe. They are familiar with the comics, shows, and movies, they know what’s up, and they can survive!
They plan not to draw too much attention. Maybe help a person here or there? get an autograph or ten? But, definitely find a way back home.
That plan fails immediately, and now, they’re a vigilante group with a dumb name. But, as long as they stay in the shadows, they should be fine!That all changes when Danny saves Robin and learns something very important yet terrifying.

After being on the run from his parents and the government for a couple of months, moving from town to town, Danny ends up in Gotham City and decides to risk staying in Batman's territory. Void Hero: Redux is the revival of my original Void Hero fic—same core idea, completely rebuilt. The old version had heart, but this one has structure, intention, and the tone it always should’ve had.
Izuku is still small, still stubborn, still burdened under his odd void quirk… but this time, the story actually gives much more darkly toned pieces the weight they deserve.
This Redux leans fully into the darker elements that were only half-explored before. Themes of trauma, isolation, panic, and body-horror are central, not decorative. Izuku’s fear of crowds, his growing agoraphobia, the strange chill in his skin, the way his body mutates under stress—all of it is treated honestly instead of glossed over.

Giddy with apprehension, he quickly scans the article previews that pop up. The first holds nothing of value—it seems to be more of a parent guide than an explanation for what he's feeling. The second result recommends looking up what it means to be ‘transgender’. He’s heard the term before, but only in passing. He searches it.
The first result shows an image to the right. A blue stripe, a pink stripe, a white stripe, another pink, and another blue. The ‘trans flag’, says the image description.
“Oh,” says Izuku, breathes it out like it’s heaven-sent, because he’s found it.
He’s found it.

“It’s not a quirk,” Izuku tells the poor sod, who looks like he needs to catch up on four years of sleep and has been combating that fact with caffeine pills and spite alone. “It’s breathing. I’m literally just breathing. Do you want me to stop breathing?” he demands. When Eraserhead glares at him like he’s murdered someone (which he has, technically, but what is someone, really), Izuku sniffs righteously and says, “Stop glaring at me!”
Eraserhead takes a deep breath.
“Breathing, yes, like that,” Izuku says eagerly. “Want to see me do it too?”
“No,” says Eraserhead.
Midoriya Izuku's family tree may or may not include one Kamado Tanjirou.
