Allen has to try to hide his nemesis/sibling or risk losing any chance of getting Celena back but Fate isn't finished with the Schezar's yet. Something dark is rearing its head, born from the ruins of the war and it will put everyone's loyalty and resolve into question.

It made Kanda want to be mean, made him want to be cruel, so that he could keep Allen at arm's length. So that Allen Walker would want to avoid him, ultimately making things easier for him.
Since beginning his second life, Kanda had never once been attracted to another person. He was too focused, too goal-oriented. But Allen Walker? Staring at the tip of his sword in abject terror? There was something about him that made Kanda's heart race. He hated it. He didn't have time for it.
