She sets her file aside, then stands up from the couch and walks to the window, making a show of frowning at her partner and best friend. “Can’t you use the door like a normal person?” she asks with a fake sigh as she opens the window, and Vi frowns too.
“Why?” she retorts, like she’s really wondering, “I’d have to come down from the roof and then back up, that doesn’t make sense.”
“Or you could come from the street,” Cait laughs, offering her hand to Vi so she can climb inside, “you know that’s allowed, right?”

Goodnight or good morning, whichever is right.” with that Kara hurried away from the intimidating woman, unaware of those predatory eyes following her out the door. Lena caught Mike staring longingly at the door and she scowled, eyes briefly flashing yellow before she went back to nursing her wine. Her thoughts centered on the blonde that just ran out of her bar like a bat out of hell.
