Aziraphale is outraged when his snake-keeping neighbor allows a rat to escape and it ends up loose in his apartment. When Crowley tries to make it up to him it looks like a relationship could be a real possibility... if only Aziraphale could get over his fear of snakes.Basically just ~15k words of these two idiots trying to get to know each other while navigating the terrors of being known, all under the guise of rodent control.

Middle aged dating is a nightmare. Nobody Erelah met had sent any excitement racing up his spine. It was his luck that the one man that piqued his interest was one who had rescued him from a date going wrong, and said man didn’t seem to have any interest in anything but friendship.
