“I’ve never had a niece before,” Jenny remarks. Her fingers twist around the handle of her almost-empty teacup. “I’ve never had any family before, except my dad. And that was only for a few hours.”
She says it matter-of-factly enough, perhaps a bit pensive but certainly not seeming overtly distraught by the statement she just made. Susan, however, is rather inclined to be distraught on her behalf. Susan had a whole family on Gallifrey, and her grandfather with her for years and years, and now she has David’s family here on Earth. And even so, she still feels lonely sometimes.

Time to finally head home, his mother would be glad to see him.Even back in Pellet Town, Ash stayed something of a celebrity, even more so when after being home for a while, Pokémon started popping up left and right. Knowing from their experiences with him, or because of the legendaries, that he was the person to go to in case they needed something.
The worlds' reaction to different legendaries popping up in backwater Pellet Town was great to see.
