Summary
It was a small miracle that Eddie hadn’t shoved him out of bed when those words tumbled out of Steve’s mouth. Because they weren’t together. They weren’t even friends. They weren’t anything other than two people who kept winding up in bed together despite hating each other with everything they had.
Or, that’s how it looked, anyway.
___
OR: Steve underestimates how easily Eddie can accommodate a request in the bedroom.

Summary
Now that he’d dumped Billy, Eddie knew exactly how useless he was without a hot guy telling him what to do. But this so-called "life coach," this Coach Steve? He was definitely a hot guy who told people what to do– professionally, no less. Was Eddie really desperate enough to pay for the privilege?

Huh. Well... Fuck it.
OR: Until recently, Eddie’s life had rigid structure in the form of his full-time, total power Dom, Billy. Post-breakup with no one left to impress, Eddie’s life is in total freefall. But a perfectly timed Facebook ad for life coach Steve gives him a zany idea: if he can hack his brain into self-improvement by using a surrogate Dom for his endless need for approval and external validation, what’s the harm? So long as Coach Steve never finds out, what’s the worst that could happen?

Summary
“I didn’t really think it through when I said it, I just got so angry and all I could think was that I wanted them to know what it would be like for someone they love to be gay. It was probably a dumb plan, because the jury’s still out on if they love me,” he chuckled darkly. “Plus, the obvious.”
The clock ticked.
Robin raised her eyebrows and waited. “You’re… not gay?” She guessed with a frown.
Steve flashed her finger guns with a grin. “Bingo.”

Summary
This description will contain spoilers for both parts of this series. DO NOT READ THIS if you would like to enjoy the work with the intended uncertainty about Steve's version of events.
Part 1 is the teleplay of an episode of the reality TV show Hoarders, featuring Steve Harrington, age 45. All we can see is what the audience sees, which is muddled by the party trying to keep the secrets of what really happened in Hawkins in the 80's, and the fact that nobody (even the party) believes that Steve is lucid, but (SPOILERS) Steve has correctly worked out that Eddie has been alive this whole time, secreted away somewhere by the government. This is tagged as Steve/Eddie because Steve never got over his feelings for Eddie, and they will eventually get together in part 2.
Will and El sacrificed themselves post-S4 to take down Vecna, and they are truly dead.
There is not really a happy ending to the first part, other than Steve successfully cleaning parts of his house.Part 2 is a more typically-formatted work that captures the events following the release of Steve's episode of Hoarders. SPOILERS: Eddie owns a television. There will be an eventual happy ending, and this work will be rated E.

Summary
Steve comes to Eddie's trailer with a very personal problem. Eddie listens, compassionate and judgment-free, and proposes a solution. Completely selflessly, of course; he just wants to reassure Steve that there's nothing wrong with him, or more accurately, his dick. Except for the fact that Eddie's been pathetically yearning for his friend for months now, and is always greedy for whatever scraps of Steve Harrington he can get, even breaking his own heart in the process.
“I think… it’s all just about your state of mind, Stevie. Maybe you just need a different approach. Where there’s no stress, no pressure, just someone focusing on… you. No stakes, no expectations, no judgment on how long it takes for you to… get to a finish line, or even whether you enter the race at all, so to speak. Just let yourself feel good.”

Summary
I [25M] live with my roommate [26M]. I’m worried I might be homophobic towards him?
tl;dr: I’ve never been homophobic before, but whenever I see my gay roommate with other guys it makes me feel like shit and it’s ruining our friendship. How can I stop acting like an asshole and make things go back to normal?
---
Steve moves in with Eddie under the illusion that he's straight. Straight, and weirdly, distressingly invested in his roommate's sex life.

Summary
But he didn’t count on the fact there was one person in the room who, besides Eleven and Hopper, had the reason to be the most stir-crazy of them all — and Munson had practically made antagonizing Steve into an even bigger pastime than a professional goddamn sport.
There were a variety of one liners he liked to deploy when Steve would roll his eyes or let loose a huff of annoyance.
“What’s got your panties in a twist, Harrington?” he would ask, or, “Baby skip his nap today?”
A personal favorite of his seemed to be some variation of asking if it was Steve’s time of the month. “You on your period, sweetheart?” he’ll ask. It never failed to kill with the boys, who would fall all over themselves laughing when he asked — usually after whatever meeting they were in, because it also never failed to get Nancy apoplectic. Munson, to his credit, had only needed twice to learn to keep that one way under his breath and out of her earshot for fear she’d shoot his nuts off.
These questions also had the unique ability to make Steve as red as a fucking tomato which, like, fuck him, he guessed.
In which Steve learns a thing or two, by doing a thing or two.

Summary
Steve makes a desperate noise in the back of his throat that has Eddie’s vision turn white for several moments, blood rushing heavily in his ears. And then he feels it against his hip. Steve is just as hard as he is, branding Eddie even through two layers of jeans.
“Steve,” Eddie gasps, because his mouth wants to test out his name when he’s allowed to feel like this. Hot and heavy and like he’s going to melt into his mattress.
“You touch me all the time, drag your fingers all over me, rub your cheek against me like a cat.” Steve’s words sound like an accusation, lips brushing against the shell of his ear. “And all of that just because you like how my sweaters feel to the touch?”
OR Eddie gets caught hugging Steve's sweater, and Steve's solution is to romance the hell out of Eddie in return.
