Summary
Aethelflaed is pregnant before she takes the throne in Mercia. She does not vow chastity because of this. She will keep the power and throne, but Uhtred will rule alongside her. And one day when the kingdom passes to her daughter, hopefully she and Uhtred will return to his lands in the north, to Bebbanburg. Disregard any canon battles that are to happen late S4. Starts canon then diverges.

“Rozanov,” Crowell begins, his voice finally dropping its casual flair. He snorts out something like a laugh. “Is Hollander blackmailing you?”
“What?” Shane says to his muted phone at the same time Ilya says “Excuse me?”
“A charity really?” Crowell huffs like this was a joke. Shane feels his blood go cold as he realizes this isn’t a friendly little meeting.
Crowell lets out a soft hum, and Shane can hear his chair creek like he’s leaning forward. “Ilya level with me, you’re a bad person.”No. No! No!
or: Crowell tells Ilya he can't start the Irina Foundation because it messes with his 'Bad Boy' persona. Too bad Shane Hollander is listening in on his phone and disagrees.

It’s not going viral because Jane’s true identity was exposed—or even because Ilya was blatantly sexting in public. That part’s as expected as Shane doing yoga or any human being on earth breathing.
No, the texts are going viral because no one can believe how bad this “Jane” is at sexting.
The women of the world are outraged. The men of the world are baffled. No one can understand why Ilya Rozanov, whose abs have their own fan club, is wasting his time on ‘a piece of cardboard that wished to be turned into a real girl’ (this particular joke has 300k likes and counting).
Or: After a social media trend mocks Shane's sexting skills, he tries to improve them. It goes about as poorly as you'd expect.

Cliff had messed up, he knew that much. But, in his defense, what were the odds that he'd sleep with *the* Jane?
As in, Ilya's Montreal Jane?!
Once he worked up the courage to confess to his best friend/captain/adopted little brother, that was it.
Ilya was going to slaughter him.
Cliff just hoped he was dead before he had to explain that it had happened multiple times over the past three months, and that he was fairly certain he was in love with Jane.
