Banjo raised an eyebrow. “What was on your list of priorities then?”
“Strengthening One for All and not dying at the hands of All for One?”
“Oh right, I forgot about that.”
Hikage gave him an incredulous look. “How-”“Hey Nana.” Yoichi said conversationally. “Do you happen to know if Eighth has a shellfish allergy?”

How could Corbeau ever forget that framed picture? The ancestral figure depicted in it was the kind you would vaguely remember learning in elementary history class, recognizable in all except for name, but having Dawn here gave Corbeau the hint he needed: it was Professor Laventon, immortalized in the purple, knitted beanie and white lab coat that he had donned throughout his Hisui expedition, the Galaxy Team logo drawn to stand out even with the test of time.
Well, this was the most interesting turn of his night yet, Corbeau mused.
Or: in the tail-end of a luxurious gala, a hasty plan was hatched between two, grieving and lost mentees to bring home a stolen painting, one that held more than just history in its value. Corbeau never thought that he would execute it with the missing Champion Dawn of the Sinnoh region, and that a genuine camaraderie could be born with a mere stranger.

“Explorin’ the city, you know, just adventurin’.” Canari outright lied. “Lumiose is absolutely massive!”
Urbain took her at face value, agreeing readily. “That it is! Want me to help show you the sights?”
Naveen, who Canari was fairly certain still watched her streams – and who had therefore seen her spend the last 5 hours of her life playing Beldum Buildup – remained conspicuously silent.
“...That won’t be necessary. Thanks, though!”
Urbain mistakes a disguised Canari, returning from a visit overseas, for a tourist. Canari goes along with it, and Naveen is long-suffering.

It’s very young, only IIVI years old, it doesn’t have any of its own kind, but it learned some Eridian from Engineer Rocky. Can you come and watch it while Engineer Rocky recovers and we work out what it needs?”
