Summary
Eddie wasn’t sure what made him follow Steve Harrington into the dark. It probably wasn’t best practice, but the deck was completely empty save for the other man who had rolled his ridiculous cashmere sweater’s sleeves up and was leaning over the railing smoking a Marlboro red. It was really hot. When else was he going to get a chance to talk to the golden boy himself, star of Hawkins and master of making Eddie Munson feel invisible. Nobody was paying him any attention. Everyone was avoiding the glass door, preferring the cozy drunk canoodling indoors. It was almost certainly the weed moving him like a puppet, but even so, Eddie steeled himself and slid the door open, stepping onto cool wood he could feel through his tattered mismatched socks. He closed it behind him and the noise of mingling became a light hum.
Eddie airs out his grievances with King Steve.

With slightly more force than he should’ve, Jayce dug the tips of his fingers into a particularly dense muscle mass. Viktor’s leg went momentarily limp and he made… a sound. Something close to a groan. Terrified that he hurt him, Jayce’s head shot up and he looked at his partner’s face. It was scarlett. Jayce didn’t think he’d ever seen Viktor blush before. It was… pretty.
“S-sorry, I’m not… I didn’t…” Viktor rushed through his words, his accent thicker than usual. “Sometimes the human body mistakes the sudden lack of pain for pleasure. Completely normal, I assure you.” And that was when Jayce noticed. Impossible to hide, despite Viktor’s dark pants, the awkward bulge protruding from his crotch. Directly at eye-level. Jayce quickly got to his feet and cleared his throat, doing his best to rip his eyes away from his best friend’s fairly obvious erection.In which Jayce falls desperately in love with Viktor and can't believe his luck when his love is requited. And requited. And requited a third time, just for good measure.

“Those are all valid,” Eddie snaps. He looks at the board again. Their flights are leaving within half an hour of each other, now. After a beat, he sighs. The thought of anything that might make it marginally more bearable to get on his airplane back to his miserable fucking life in New York is tempting. “Is there actually a bar here?”
