Panic rose up in Hypnos’s throat. “Brother?” He was hurt. Someone, something, had hurt him. How? Why? “Are you alright? What happened?”
Thanatos didn’t answer him. He blinked, a couple of times, wiped his mouth with the back of his hand. He opened his mouth as if to speak, let out a choked gasp, and fell from where he’d been slightly suspended in the air down to the floor.
