So many memories passed before Euijoo’s eyes like a torturous flashback, refusing to leave his lips and be shared with the rest because he was selfish enough to keep that Nicholas all to himself. The idea of someone else knowing him so intimately, as if someone had looted his own Pandora's box and snatched the only thing that was his to keep, turning it into an eternal promise materialized in a ring that didn't include him, was as painful as it was nauseating.

He looked at this man—this stranger who looked at him as if he were the only person in the room—and felt a sudden, sharp realization that the 'blank space' in his life was about to be filled with something possibly terrifying and very unexpected. "I'm pregnant," Nicholas blurted out, the words tumbling over each other. "And based on the tests... you're the father."

“Why?” He asked cautiously.
“If you win…” His whiskey-scented breath washed over him, making him aware once more of the closeness. “…you settle the debt, and I’ll even let you ask questions. But I’ll ask questions too.” He pointed an accusatory finger at him, a playful pout taking over his expression. He was so smiley that Nicholas had completely forgotten who he was, where he was, and what he was doing there.
He frowned, not trusting what he was telling him. It was too easy and too good to be true.
“And what happens if you win?”
The smile that appeared made every hair on his body stand on end and completely destabilized him.
“If I win… I’ll fuck you on the pool table.”
