Summary
--- Merlin couldn't have magic. He would've told me. At least, he wouldn't have been stupid enough to stay in Camelot, with the king's son no less. If he had magic, he certainly had a death wish.
"You're lying." The leader had moved closer to Merlin while he had been thinking. Arthur positioned himself between them. "He doesn't have magic. There's no way he does." --Arthur and Merlin's hunting trip takes a turn for the worse when they are caught by bandits working for none other than Morgana, who had recently betrayed Camelot and vowed its destruction. Their capture costs them both a heavy toll, and reveals Merlin's dangerous secret. Their fight to survive together may be all that saves their lives.

Summary
In "The Darkest Hour", Gaius wasn't sure what it will take to repair the tear in the veil between worlds (blood sacrifice was merely a guess) and Kilgharrah insisted that "the spirit world demands no sacrifice", that "it is the demands of the Cailleach".
What if... the Cailleach asked for something other than blood sacrifice? What if she asked for the two halves to be made whole instead?
