“I think,” said Nyarlathotep, sliding his hand around to cup Carter’s jaw, “that I would rather keep that information to myself.”

Summary
A world, much like our own, exists with one known exception--Dragons are the gods of this world, and they choose champions. There are thousands of champions all over the world--and they help keep the world peaceful and are the darlings of every country. Grover Flowerstone is not a Dragon champion, but he's been hired to be a handler for one--where he learns that with strength and power comes a tradeoff--the champions often cannot control their emotions, and in enraged states will hurt those around them. It's Grover's job to guard Wadih Mistlost, a superficially overconfident man struggling with college with severe sleepwalking problems, who finds himself in a Draconic Rage almost every night, against his will. Grover must navigate how to helpfully bring Wadih out of his shell, while also wrestling with his feelings for Wadih, Wadih's feelings for himself--and the fact he is nursing a dark secret of his own, that could destroy his life and Wadih's from the inside out.
