Summary
Subspace has a simple life. Work all day, take breaks for treatment, medication, and naps at scheduled intervals. Except, over time, he's slowly starting to realize some hard truths. It's nothing he wants to know, but perhaps he has known all along, just denied it. It is not perfect, and therefore inefficient.
Unfortunately, there are things in his life that are trying to get him to realize perfection doesn't exist, and he's doing more than he needs to, even by Blackrock standards. Gamma and the Biograft (he definitely did NOT model after his own selfish desires. Being clingy is NOT something he wants to do!) he keeps around in his lab as an assistant (company) especially. Hyperlaser is, hesitantly, included, as he hopes there's a chance for Subspace to get out of the intense conditioning he went through as a newspawn, no matter how much he refuses to get any form of help.

Summary
It's been years since Medkit last took part in the arena games. They're still going just as strong as ever, but Medkit has other things to focus on now. These things include navigating life as the newest acolyte of the SFoTH, running his little apothecary, avoiding calls from his ex boss, and grappling with the Inpherno's latest headline:
Subspace T Mine is dead.
Medkit is left in the aftermath of wars he never started, feeling responsible for deaths he never caused. Subspace can't be dead, can he? And what's worse, there's a little spawnling with a suspiciously Blackrockian accent insisting on following him around like a lost puppy as he's trying to grieve.

you will find all you need to know here.this au explores the concept of the color gang from an outside perspective. this set in the pov of an off the books privet investigator who stumbles onto info on the color gang and them being connected to TCO. this catches our pov character's interest and she gets digging only to end up way more involved then expected.
