Summary
Basically, Zanka is a fox god living on his mountain, and saves a ‘mortal’. That mortal turns out to be Jabber who is actually a Snake demon, or a Naga. Ummmm... Story line is roughly based in ancient Japan, though its not super relevant to the story.
Fun fact! Spring is often a time for snakes breeding seasons!!

There, across the lounge, he sees a gorgeous woman, incredibly tall, wearing dark flared jeans and jewelry everywhere possible: her waist, her wrists, her fingers, her neck. Her hair is long and loc'd, embedded with golden rings and charms that must've taken hours to do. The blue-ish lights land on her arm, where scars cast shadows, but they seem to make her all the more alluring. He watches long, manicured fingers reach over and... pick-pocket the man next to her, stealing a credit card without remorse. [...]
Her hand comes up to push a shorter loc from her face, long eyelashes batting over magenta eyes as he gets a better look at the rings, trying to snap out of his drunken stupor.
