After everything is said and done and defeated, Sazantos decides to distance himself from everyone. It's not like he deserves to be with the people he has once loved anymore, after what he has done.
His little sibling doesn't let him isolate himself forever, though, and during their travels through the human world and Hell, Sazantos eventually learns to accept his own desires just a little.
That means that, when he looks up at the world mirrored in the skies of hell and sees a really sick Rondo, after years, he finally decides to go see him again.

Lohen responds by sinking further into Varka’s chest, enveloped by his heartbeat and expanding-retracting lungs. “They’re, just… loud. And needy.”
Varka snorts. “I’d have thought that would give you some common ground with ‘em.”
Lohen wants to pinch him, but his arm won’t move.
“And maybe you’ve got that much in common with Mondstadt, too,” says Varka, “because we need you. So you have to survive this, alright?”
Lohen doesn’t actually want to die, he just really, really, really wants his subordinates to live. Sometimes that means standing between them and a heaving, snarling beast and letting it do its thing.
