His eyes are closed, nostrils flaring with restrained anger before he speaks in a calm tone, “You shouldn’t say such things,”
Barth stands until he’s directly behind Tanrak, a safe distance between them. “Why not?” Barth snaps. “Because it makes everything much more real for you? Because it makes you feel guilty?”
