Summary
Kakashi knew he graduated as a genin young in the anime, but that wasn’t enough. Only six years old? He had to do better than that. Sure, he knew he was only four at the moment, but mentally? He was a whopping thirteen! Still… he wasn’t questioning that. His goal was to be the best, so that he could save everyone from the horrors of the canon.
He has four months to complete four tasks, one, continue expanding his chakra with the leaf technique. Two, learn to walk on walls. Three, walk on water, which could really go with two, but that was a lot of work for one step. Finally, four, shadow clone jutsu. He had to learn these before his dad killed himself by the end of the year. He also had to make sure his dad wrote down all the jutsus he said he would teach him.
If Kakashi gets powerful enough, maybe, just maybe, he’ll be able to make sure everyone gets to live happily…
Unless…
No. That was silly. Those need to stay intrusive.

Summary
The Cobalt Coastlands remind him of Kiri if Kiri were happier, brighter, and less stained with blood but unlike Kiri, for some reason, the Coastlands bring up memories of Rin he usually only remembers in his nightmares. After assuring Adaman that he's fine, he's willing to help gather the necessary materials for Basculegion's food, they meet up with Iscan for only a few minutes. Without acknowledging Iscan's concerning behavior, Adaman ushers them away from his home in favor of exploring the Coastlands and having an impromptu beach day before night fall. Kakashi, annoyed and on edge, begrudgingly follows along only to be slapped in the face by the smell of a home he can't return to. He follows the smell to a small grove in Gingko's Landing only to come across who he can only describe as a fake Obito. At least that's until fake-Obito slaps some sense into him and forces him to remember, to see, and to grieve all in one red-eyed look.
In which Kakashi meets Obito, and Obito wants nothing to do with the teammate he once knew.
**This work is a part of an anthology where Obito and Kakashi are isekai-ed into the world of Pokemon: Legends Arceus.**
