“My mother doesn’t remember half of her children as it is,” she said with a note of bitterness. “If you do something to impress her, it won’t matter. Return the bolt in her name. She’ll claim you if you act the part. If you stay unclaimed then they'll figure out what you really are," she said, squeezing his hands tightly. Percy's heart sped up.
"I - I don't know the first thing about Aphrodite-"
"My mother was born of sea foam," Silena cut him off. "And if you're really who I think you are... you are the sea. You can pull this off," she said and touched his cheek. "Get the bolt. Survive," she said. Percy swallowed.
"What if I can't act the part?" He asked. Silena's expression went blank for a moment. Slowly, she slipped off her bracelet and placed it in his hands.
"If you're going to be one of us... you better learn."

and if i say this fic is more important to me than IWYWMH??? what then??? ugh. sj in this is so so so heartbreaking but also so real (i love the acknowledgement that sj would never really let yqy go). every reread of this fic feels like i'm swallowing glass but the glass tastes like ambrosia so honestly it's better than most things i've eaten. forever daydreaming about this fic

If I die, I will haunt this author simply to discover the ending to this fic. Seriously, there's no other Fairy Tail fic that has me in such an iron grip. I think about this all the time. I dream about this. I want to go into this fic and give Natsu a big hug. This just brings me back to the magic of fan fiction and anime like I'm 11 years old all over again.

Transfer student Daniel works in the new coffee shop after school, near J High. In no time, the place becomes a hotspot. A beautiful barista and a cute streamer. A smexy intern and a famous actor. It’s a great combination that brings a lot of customers in.

My favorite Lookism fic. While Legacy will also be the beginning of my obsession, this fic is everything I love about fan fiction itself; it's hilarious, just a little this side of sane, and has such a unique premise that I wish other people would capitalize on. Four Daniels could be hard to handle, but the author makes each and every one of them unique.
