Fucking SOBBING
my heart is aching and it was clenching throughout the full two last chapters.
One of the best fics I've ever read probably. I'm crying. This is so beautiful and oh my gosh it hurts so well AHHHHHH I feel like this needs a sequel but It’s so perfect😭😭😭 but also i would love a yoongi, hoseok reunion and jk and namjoon feature but😭😭😭😭😍😍🤩🤩🤩😍🤩🤩🤩🤩 oh man holy shit this is SO GOOD
It feels so painfull, jimins carefully consideration of jin and jin's shattering and allowing himself to love and be loved and it's written so viscerally it hit me like a sledgehammer cause I was NOT expecting that!! And after chpt 8 when I realised that it was almost over I was like meh there's only an epilogue left but that actually made me cry almost more than the climax.
Some of me favourite scenes;
He looks horrible.
Jin’s jet-black hair is disheveled, and his skin an unhealthy pallor. His eyes–wide, bloodshot–flit from Jimin and Taehyung to a comatose Cho, and back. Jimin swears a spark of magic flashes at Jin’s fingertips, but it’s gone before Jimin can linger on it.
How is this even possible? They’ve only been gone for a few hours, five or six tops, so why does Jin look like he’s been through hell and back?
Oh.
Oh no.
Understanding morphs and shapes into a knife-blade, and it lances straight through his chest. Beyond anger and indifference, Jimin knew a third option was possible. He just never believed Jin was capable of it. Or, he never thought Jin would actually show it.
Hurt.
The realization lands like a gut punch, and Jimin is suddenly unsteady on his feet. Calm down. Relax. If he doesn’t hold himself together–
The emotions flow through the soul bond, and slam into Taehyung.
“Hyung.”
It’s the only word his soulmate speaks before he folds over and bursts into sobs.
And Jimin’s tears follow right behind.
How did they fuck up this badly? How could they hurt Jin? The man who rescued them, took them in, and watched over them every day since. Jin has never asked anything of them. Not once in ten years. And this is how they repay him.Flipping gut punched. The first time I read it (accidental-almost skim) I actually folded and there were immediate tears and adrenaline and I immediately scrolled up to where I'd started skimming and BOY was that the best decision because I found this gem;

Seokjin’s heart kicks back to life, and he’s pushing through the pain of his injuries to sit up and get a better look. Yes, it’s really them! How could he ever forget? How could he lose himself to a five hundred year-old delusion when they are here?

Because it is ridiculous and sweet, and he wonders for a second time how he ever dared to forget them. Seokjin has lived in agony for centuries and will do so for eternity.
But not while they are here.
His Witchlings.And JESUS we're not even gonna talk about chpt 9 because every single word of that was just perfect and ohso sweetly, cruelly captivating painfull and jin was just such a crumpled being and this writing just really hit the spot and idk what that is.
Rip, will have post great fic depression along with post- concert depression at the same time now (although the concert ended so magnificently that I wasn't even sad it's just more of a longing💗)
