Dark Link tries to keep the incredulous disbelief from his voice. Unfortunately, it doesn’t matter how idiotic this plan or his master is being. If that was what Demise wanted, that would be what it got. Demise did not accept disobedience. Or failure.
Which is how Dark finds himself staring down the blades of nine heroes, wondering why this is his life.
“So,” he begins. “Sorry ‘bout the whole, uh, trying to kill you repeatedly for millennia thing.” For some reason, this makes the heroes tense further. “…No hard feelings?”

Summary
Time shuffles up to standing, taking in his surroundings. There isn’t much to see, unfortunately. The cell is built of solid stone bricks, the floor covered in dust, scraps of rubble, and questionable dark stains. The front of the cell is a wall of metal bars, cut through the middle by a door with a thick lock. He walks over and grabs the bars of the door, shaking them testingly. They barely budge.
The sound of shuffling chains reaches his ears.
“…Is someone there?” he asks cautiously.
When the reply comes, it’s dry and sarcastic. “I wish I wasn’t.”

Time gets tossed into prison, one even he has trouble escaping from... His only company? A snippy and sarcastic stranger in the next cell over.

“So,” Malon states levelly, “for some reason, the guy you attacked, chained up, and imprisoned in our pantry, isn’t being cooperative.”
The pantry door rattles, angry hissing coming from within.
The collection of Links in her kitchen appear rather sheepish. Her own Link blinks back at her, “…Well, when you word it like that…”

Heroes have been pulled together from across time to face a mysterious threat, but accidentally find a Link with a darker tale to tell.

Summary
The world of Hyrule was a fluid one, one where Time could loop back upon itself, could split and fuse at the beckoning of magic and divine hymns. But as a Demon King and the dark reflection of a Hero twisted Time beyond its limits, they began to break the few Laws that this realm had.
And even Truth, the Balance of All Things, was getting a universe sized headache at the mess of wet spaghetti that Hyrule’s timeline had become. So, seeing the Heroes that had been scattered through Time, It decided to send in Its own little helpers.

Or, the self-indulgent fic in which the Links of the Chain meet the Elric brothers, and Truth is searching for entertainment.
