Summary
There is a three year gap, ages 19-22, in the records of one James Tiberius Kirk, recently Captain of the USS Enterprise - an absence so absolute that it almost seems that he was not even on the planet Earth during that time, yet there also exists no record of a passage off world. When pressed, Jim will say only that he was travelling during that time, with only a set of wheels and the stars in his rear-view mirror.
This, as it turns out, is not entirely the truth. It is also not technically a lie.
Or, conversely, the Doctor has a fondness for them, these pink and yellow humans, these heroes. Rose Tyler, Defender of the Universe; River Song, The Impossible Astronaut; James Tiberius Kirk, Captain of the Enterprise. These legends, who belong first to history are far too tempting to resist, especially for the Doctor, who is perhaps the most dedicated historian there ever was.
Or, the one where the Doctor accidentally crashes in Jim Kirk’s backyard and then takes him to see the stars, and you know, in general shake up the universe. Needless to say, it’s a ride. Mostly gen, pre Kirk/Spock, background River/The Doctor, Sarek/Amanda.

Summary
The Enterprise has a crew unlike any other. They are the best and brightest that Starfleet has to offer, the vast majority of them are painfully young, and they are largely untried. They are led by the most unpredictable and explosive duo that has ever graced Starfleet Command.
Alpha and Beta Quadrants are reeling under the after-effects of Nero's second rampage. The Klingon Empire's fleet has been gutted. The Romulans are ominously silent. The shattered remnants of the Vulcans are desperately trying to save their culture and their people.
All eyes are on the Enterprise, the boatload of children who succeeded where an entire armada failed. Depending on who you talk to, they are heroes, villains, or ignorant, blindingly lucky upstarts. After their rather explosive beginning, how will the Enterprise and her command crew fare?

Summary
Nezu spends his life among humans, yes. He made a career out of training the best of them to save, to fight, to be good. Because Nezu has seen what humans can do when left alone to choose their own path. They murder. They torture. They experiment. He needs to make sure they are raised with proper morality, that the good traits are the ones nurtured. But part of him will never be able to fully let down his guard around any human ever again. Part of him will always burn for revenge.
When a random kid’s quirk awakening brings him a not-quite-human child with all the same scars he saw in the mirror, figuratively anyway, Nezu finds himself experiencing something brand new.

The war is basically over now, and Bumblebee is a respected hero who leads his own team of Polity Advocates. Things are going fine for him, perfect, even!
Until a new Decepticon defects to the Autobots. A Decepticon that no one’s ever seen before, who bears an eerie resemblance to Bumblebee himself.
Evil shockdad inspired fic where Shockwave decides to make a sparkling to replace Bumblebee and the results are uhhhh mixed. Basically: evil shockdad with a focus on sibling/pseudo-siblings dynamics and the weird kind of bonding that can result from being abused by the same person.

Edgeworth pushes up his glasses, embarrassed. Really, this is a long time coming. Evidence may be everything in court, but image is everything in politics. Whether he and his subordinates like it or not, being officers of the law is very much a political thing, hence his e-mail to the HR department requesting a seminar on creating a professional, respectable work environment that would have their reputation on the mend in no time.
Surely, everything will be just fine.
(Or, Edgeworth calls human resources in to lecture his own employees for their buffoonery. A standalone sequel to A Game of Death (Not a Game at All), and a light mockery/criticism of corporate culture.)

So, in 2024 I watched playthroughs of the six mainline Ace Attorney games + Investigations 1 & 2. I thought the original trilogy and the Investigations duology were amazing, and that games 4–6 had some really good ideas and characters but failed to consistently execute any of them well and did a massive disservice to most of the cast of the previous games. I proceeded to post a whole bunch of Thoughts about the series on tumblr, including my issues with each of AA4–6 and how I thought each of them could have been better written. On my most recent rewatch, I wound up, as usual, itching to talk about that more. So I am.

Kazuma is accused of murder the next morning.
IMPORTANT NOTE: this is a plot outline! basically, this is gonna go through all the TGAA cases and outline the butterfly effect of Ryunosuke dying on the SS Burya instead of Kazuma.
