Great, Frank huffs- and then proceeds to start coughing again. Thankfully this time it’s only a couple coughs, and Red’s there patting his back to help. “Don’t wanna be sick,” he grumbles.“I don’t think anyone wants to be sick, Frank,” Red chuckles.
“Let me complain.” If Red’s warmth wasn’t incredibly comfortable right now, Frank would push him away.
Red chuckles again, “Alright, Frank.” Red’s hand finds its way into Frank’s hair and massages him gently, it’s incredibly nice, and annoyingly good at shutting Frank up.

Now though, he can watch Red, and there’s something about him that exudes comfortability. It’s that same almost cockiness Red gets when they’re out at night. It’s that familiar devil in him that thrives in combat, clearly it ain’t just for throwing punches.His posture’s confident and calm, his smile is sure, it’s like seeing Red at the start of a fight. Only missing the red pyjamas and raised fists.
It’s certainly doing something to Frank.

Tonight, Red wanted something softer, ain’t the first time and definitely won’t be the last. They both like it enough for Frank to put some hooks in the ceiling for it. Red said the landlord would be fine with it, but Frank wouldn't be surprised if Red was lying just so they could do this easier.Of course, they have silk ropes. Soft and smooth for Red, and his freaky senses. They’re also fittingly red, it’s a good colour on him. It would feel wrong for it to be anything else.

“Oh, that’s how you wanna play?” Matt can hear the matching grin on Frank’s face.“No idea what you’re talking about, Frank.” There’s a familiar excitement rising inside of Matt, the one he gets whenever he and Frank are about to fight, or brawl, or whatever it is they do.
“You’re a goddamn menace, Red,” Matt thinks he hears that similar excitement in Frank’s tone too.
“Are you saying you got pushed by a helpless blind man?” Matt does love taunting Frank, “How could The Punisher have sunken so low?”

“I’m going to take your silence as you taking time to regret your life choices,” Foggy’s chipper voice comes through again, “One hour, Murdock! If I don’t see you in the office by then you owe me a drink and takeout.”Matt is already feeling the call of unconsciousness beckon him back to sleep. He can sleep five more minutes, he has more than enough time to be able to make it to the office by nine.
“I’m gonna need a proper response, Matt. Need to make sure you aren’t bleeding out in a dumpster.” Foggy unfortunately has a good point.

When Grace gets seemingly teleported by means unknown into the SM-13 right as it was nearing The Light, both Simon and Grace have no idea what is happening. Grace knows he was supposed to be in his house on Erid, Simon knows this new guy cannot possibly be a hallucination, and Ava, upon hearing Grace ramble about theories for how he got there, knows that new guy is Smart. Could-Secure-Our-Survival Smart.

Ryland and Rocky are giving him everything he needs to keep him alive, even studying his body in the hopes of figuring out what the hell happened to him, how he got here, how he’s alive. Meanwhile, Simon is sitting around. Useless. Feeling guilty. Like he owes Ryland somehow."
OR: Simon feels guilty for "taking up room" on the Hail Mary on the way to Erid, so he asks Grace how he can help out on the ship in an attempt to make himself feel better. Grace and Rocky remind him that not only does he deserve to be there, but that they're very happy to have him.

Summary
Grace and Simon go on a day trip to the beach
One shot that just takes place in an alternate timeline where there was no Taumoeba leak and Rocky got back to Erid completely fine and happily reunited with Adrian as a hero to his world and told the Eridians about Grace and Earth, for why Simon was even with Grace is in the full length fic before this and just diverges after the Hail Mary and Rocky go their separate ways. This can be read independently I just wanted to give Simon some stories of getting to experience Earth because I don't think people give him that too often.
