Summary
In a world where vampires rule with what they deem to be a just system, vampire/human hybrids are rare, and they survive even more rarely. Simon is one of the few who reach the age of 25, which means he is going to live a long life. At that point, he's assigned a vampire handler whose job is to analyze and experiment on him.
His handler, Wilhelm, hates hybrids with a passion, but seeing Simon week after week starts making him intrigued.

“A choice still would have been nice,” Simon argued.
Wilhelm shrugged, “And I want a horse, but they are terrified of me. We do not all get what we want, no matter how much we yearn differently.”
“I am not a horse!” Simon bit back.
“No, you are my slave,” Wilhelm reminded the boy.

Simon is a songwriter living in New York. He has until the end of the month to come up with three love songs. There is only one problem: he hates writing love songs. He doesn't believe in real love and he has never been in love.
When his new neighbour, Wilhelm, seems to be very charming and kinda hot Simon decides there is no time for distractions. The more he tries to avoid his handsome neighbour, the more he finds himself in his company later. When his songs start to be about Wilhelm things get complicated, especially when one of his lyrics sheets get lost…

This is my first AU where Wille is not a prince; he's an actor. And Simon is not a humble misfit at a fancy school, he's a singer, breaking into acting.
It has been a difficult decision to publish this fic. It's *not* RPF. I don't claim any insight into Edvin's or Omar's minds. I don't ship them. I believe Edvin is happy with Felicia, and he has a lovely, supportive family. This is Wilmon fiction. Wille and Simon experience many of the real-life incidents but this is my fiction.
