Summary
Saga is a digital world existing alongside our own, intertwined with human progress and technology. Its digimon once inspired the myths of the human world—Analog—shaping our gods, angels, and monsters through a shared consciousness. Order in Saga is maintained by the High Council, divine arbiters who mediated between rival blocs to preserve the fragile balance that keeps the world at peace. Their will and worship was enforced by the thirteen Royal Knights, an ancient order forged to defeat a cataclysmic foe. For ages, they protected Saga from ruin.
Only in recent decades did human technology advance enough to breach the Digital World. The first child entered by accident, but others soon followed, partnering with young Digimon to explore Saga. The High Council permitted this, encouraging bonds between the two worlds. At first there was harmony. Tamers, as the humans were called, respected their partners and treated them as equals. Their arrival sparked negotiations, establishing rights within Saga and clarifying the nature of their bond. And so there was peace.
