Ever since they met as roommates in college - it's always been about Adora for Catra, they're best friends, they practically orbit each other and the weekly cuddles on the couch for movies is time well spent.
Coming home from sports, Adora is surprised to not only find her roommate - Catra on her bed and kneading the covers but that she's in heat and has stolen her letterman.While Adora suspects that she’s been marked, she has no idea of the seriousness of it nor that Catra is disgustingly in love with her, however as the magicat’s senses climb towards overload, Catra really can’t take much more of this self inflicted torture before something, or someone , gives.
Or: Two useless lesbians finally smack into each other's lips after years of pining, stolen looks and not so innocent touching. Catradora,mating, heat cycles and a truly disgusting amount of fluff.

Bright Moon was a small tourist town. The kind of place people visited, not the kind of place they stayed in. So for someone like Adora, looking to take a little time to grow up and prepare herself for the next step in her life, spending a year here made sense.
It was just supposed to be a stop in the road to bigger and better things. But the people were so nice and Adora had never really had a lot of friends growing up.
Then there was Catra. The kind of person that could throw a wrench into even the most well thought out plan.

After Adora deserted her, Catra can't sleep in the Fright Zone the same way anymore. She finds the only way she can ease her mind is to sleep in Adora's old bed. That is, until she gets an unexpected visitor.
(( I noticed that all the PWP written about catradora is "Catra sneaks into brightmoon at night to bang" which made me wonder...what would it be like the other way around??? Very angst heavy, and more like a Catra character study, since she is so complex and interesting to write.))

Catra can't imagine anything worse than having to deal with a very annoying, pretentious blonde for a whole class. But her friends offer her a way to make a little cash if she suffers through a date with the girl who very evidently has a crush on her. Certain it would be easy cash and that nobody would get hurt anyway, Catra takes the bet. Though she should know by now hardly anything turns out as planned, especially in college.
