Jonae (Jo) is a hardworking sophomore student from Alabama attending Westchester's Trade School in New York as a graduate majoring in Mechanics. Going to a trade school in New York seems unnecessary, especially when there are plenty of decent colleges in Alabama.
Then there’s Judd Birch.
A major in metalwork and a major delinquent. So much so, that his mom has to make sure he actually participates in his courses. He refuses to work with other people, and when he does, he makes it SO FUKING DIFFICULT!
Then one day, a class assignment in Human Anatomy pairs them and a few other people together and he’s briefly agreeable. How hard will these two collide?

Summary
Gotham City has always been strange, but not stranger than what the rumors tell. A dark shadow with glowing eyes roams through the city at night. Sometimes it has little ones by it’s side, but don’t approach them, or you’ll end up dead like the rest of them who were foolish enough to touch them. It’s always watching, and always near the little ones who follow.
Though it has saved lives of the innocent, bringing them safety and closure. Yet there are those who are afraid, afraid to approach, and afraid to drive them away. They hate them, believe to be curses who prey on the innocent.
They’re demons after all, right?
The Justice League is called upon to deal with these demons who scare the innocent of Gotham. For the safety of the innocents, they go out to deal with it. But what they come to learn is something they never would have expected.

Summary
No one is sure how long the loud sounds of the cries have been going on, 10, 15 years maybe? It’s uncertain, forgotten to keep track of. The cries...all so sorrowful and painful..you can hear them every night, and it just gets louder and louder each night. Sometimes you'll even hear chirps, clicks, and chittering. It all comes from one city, Gotham City.
Those outside of Gotham aren’t aware of what is making those sounds..only inside Gotham, and sometimes the neighboring cities.
Will they ever stop? No one knows, not even to figure out what the cause of it is. No one but Gotham knows the truth as to why these cries keep happening each night, but that's not entirely true is it? Let's ask and find out what these cries are all about inside the city of Gotham.

Imagine Batman decided to go for a full helmet instead of leaving his mouth part visible.
Imagine he had decided to paint his Kevlar in Vantablack. For stealth, of course.Year One looked a bit different. Suddenly, it wasn't a man hunting down the corruption and its causes in Gotham.
It was a creature, a shadow.
(Jim didn't give a fuck.)
*Not leaned/based on the actual movie. 'Year One' is just the general term I'll use here for the first year Batman was active in Gotham.

Summary
When the bat first took to the night he was a cryptid.
Something whispered about in hushed tones, his name never spoken aloud during the night for fear of summoning him. Mothers in desperate attempts to control their children would use him as a threat, behave or The Bat will come for you.
Then time passed. Little by little, the gothamites learned, The Bat wouldn’t harm them. He was their protector, fighting against the criminals and rogues of the cursed city. Still not entirely human, sure, no human would be insane to do what he did every night. No human capable of what The Bat was capable of. However, not something for the average person to fear.
That’s when the offerings appeared.
Small trinkets left on windowsills, sometimes with notes, sometimes without. Offerings ranging from the superstitious to the practical. A couple coins, a home baked good, a protein bar. All of them though were offerings to The Bat, to get on his good side, to guide him in his efforts to protect the city.

Or, Tim Drake is a stalker and ends up giving Bruce and Jason a fright before they quickly adopt him!
