Summary
Love was a foreign concept to the Fount of Knowledge. The emissary of the gods was not supposed to live for himself. He was not meant to indulge in personal relationships. And perhaps that was why he had felt that Pure Vanilla had saved him, in a way. He knew of the path that awaited him if he were to carry his burdens alone. He knew that he would eventually destroy himself.
And now, in a version of Earthbread that had previously been foreign to him, it was home.
No, rather – perhaps it would be more correct to say that he was his home.
The Fount of Knowledge may be a god to cookiekind themselves, but Pure Vanilla was his universe.

Summary
The Truthless Recluse has grown quite accustomed to the visits of the Sage of Truth. Meanwhile, the Sage has picked up on all of the bad habits the Recluse has followed for so long. However, there is never any confrontation. It’s so…confusing. Yet the Recluse still lies to him over them anyway. He believes he’s finally tricked the other into believing he’s fixing them. He knows it makes the scholar happy.
The Sage is coming over today, he knows.
Or: Sage knows about Recluse’s bad habits but never confronts the hermit about them. And the Recluse simply lies to keep the scholar happy.

Summary
Shadow Milk is pissed because Pure Vanilla refuses to take care of himself. No matter how much he tries to get the other of have even a modicum of self respect he just goes right back to working himself into an early grave.
Eventually Shadow Milk snaps and decides to use an unorthodox solution to get the other to start caring for himself better.
